Set in a summer meadow, this retro inspired shoot has us seriously reconsidering the pros of a more traditional wedding set up. Of course, we aren’t the first to rethink tradition.
Drawing inspiration from Woodstock to Glastonbury, music and vintage lovers alike are ditching gala dinners and opulent decor in favour of food trucks and whimsical details.
Inspired by retro shabby-chic vibes, photographer Claire Lachance has created a gorgeous boho dream and the perfect inspiration for the laid-back bride. Splashes of bold colour mixed with delicate vintage touches create a fun yet romantic atmosphere, perfect for an intimate gathering of family and friends.
Our favourite part of this bohemian shoot is the way the House of Elliot Vintage Collection has been included. Styled with a floaty mini dress and bohemian jewelry, the ‘Evangeline Elliot’ knee-high boots add a sultry edge to this informal bridal look. The overall impression is at once both fun and flirty, relaxed but also put together – a great alternative for someone tired of all the other details, from veils to gowns that have come to mean bride.
With the British festival season just around the corner, we hope the bohemian vibes capture your imagination – just as much as they have ours!
Wedding Wishes & Love as Always,
