Daring, sexy, powerful, I’ve always LOVED the colour red. For me, it symbolised passion, desire but also confidence and joy, and in many cultures, it features as a colour in yes, you guessed it, weddings! In some regions of Italy, for example, it is good luck to wear red shoes on your wedding day. So when I said to the fabulous Trixie of YOUnique Events & Design that I was dying to do a shoot featuring our limited edition ‘Goodnight Sweetheart‘ boots in red, a beautiful Valentine’s styled shoot idea was born. We absolutely wanted to have our Bride wearing a red dress and Trixie took care of all the other Valentine’s inspired details, from the little red heart candies to the gorgeous wedding cake and stationery. So whether you love or hate Valentine’s day I can promise you, you are going to love all the gorgeous ideas which went into this vision. Studies have shown that the colour red is meant to increase your metabolism and heart rate, so get ready to get your heart racing when you see these amazing captures by Misty C Photography!
