Alternative Spring Wedding Inspiration

Spring is well and truly in the air and we thought it would be the perfect time to share with you this light and airy styled shoot we were part of at the beautiful Five Bridge Inn, in New England, USA. We love the bold twist which our ‘Goodnight Sweetheart’ black lace over the knee boots added to this romantic bridal look featuring the most stunning dress by Lyra Vega Bridal. It was the perfect showcase of the latest luxe trend of adding black to your bridal colour palette. Qian, of Q Hegarty Photography, captured the essence of this shoot perfectly which was styled using splashes of blush, gold, purple and green which complemented the bold yet elegant and ethereal theme. The romance continued with a sensual sultry boudoir shoot which would be sure to set any Bride to be’s future spouse’s pulse racing!

I wanted to show this concept by displaying an elegant early summer wedding but also capturing the true essence of a marriage and the romance that goes on solely between the couple after the guests have gone…I believe a styled shoot should be not only showcasing a look of a wedding but also showing the mix of emotions between the couple.
I wanted to show those feelings through more dramatic makeup, a twist on the outfit, our boudoir portion of the shoot and as well as my editing style. It shifts to a more poetic vibe from light, bright, and airy during the day. We wanted to blend the beauty and essence of true romance into the shoot. Linking the the lacy black boots with the ethereal gown showcased the enchantment of a marriage and the years of love ahead!”
